ShiftReady Institute, LLC is committed to making our website accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Our Commitment
We strive to ensure that our website conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Measures We Take
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements on our site are accessible via keyboard, without requiring a mouse.
Screen Reader Compatibility
Our pages use semantic HTML and ARIA labels to ensure compatibility with screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
Color Contrast
We maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text to ensure readability for users with low vision.
Alt Text for Images
All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked appropriately so screen readers can skip them.
Resizable Text
Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality using standard browser controls.
No Seizure-Inducing Content
We do not use content that flashes more than three times per second, which could trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Accessible Forms
All form fields are properly labeled, and error messages are clearly communicated to assistive technologies.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some older content or third-party embedded tools may not yet meet all WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working to identify and remediate these issues.
